Game locks up

Hope you guys can help me on this one.

Here is the problem. When I play JOE in multiplayer mode, and the map is finished loading up, you can see the "Game starts is 15 seconds" box at the top of the screen, during that time you should be able to hit "shift" and change your players weapons/loadout or the "m" key to bring up the map. Sometimes, not always, when I hit these keys my game completley locks up. My only fix is to hit the restart switch on my computer case.

OS: Windows XP Home w/ SP2

I believe all my drivers are up to date becasue I just installed Doom3 and it runs perfectly.

Any help would be appreciated.

u need to reinstall or tell me these tings and ill see what i can do

wich type of pc?
slow connection?
does the screen test showed anyting un usual?
do you have all files?

All fixed. It was a windows sticky key issue.

Cool, I was experiencing similar problems with locking up during the game. I realise its just a result of the distance to servers. I can only really play our local ZA server, because the FPS is too bad in any overseas servers. Despite a broadband conn of 1024, P4 3.2, 120g hdd, 256 Nividia, 1g Ram... Alas, it doesnt compare in game speed to BHD. We need more players in our local south african server to make it fun, 16 just isnt enough for the vast size of some of the maps

Follow Up:

6800 and random freezes ... PNY answered this way :

"Dear customers, the problem is the bios, the card is clocked at 400 mhz for core in 2D mode and at 425 in 3D, it's internal bios setting and the famous coolbit2 can't underclock your 3D mode, it still remaining a 425 also it's downclocked at 400 and the results are : 400 mhz 2D and 425 3D.
These settings are wrong and causes freezes and lockups.
I suggest you overclock your card at almost 430 mhz core speed in both 2D mode and 3D mode, in this case your result are : 430 / 430 in both mode and this settings are fine for all your games and applications."

Please bare in mind .. if you change your video settings you may void your warranty .. consult with your warranty and or the manufacturer .. hope this helps someone.

I also found out that EVGA (manufacturer of my video card) had a new driver that was just released (Driver Version 71.25) Hopefully this will fix the freeze ups. Gonna try it tonight.

(my bhd doesnt work eather,im now just putting my angry eye on nova (no files loaded))

I switched to the beta driver on Nvidia's website and it's all set now. Looks like it was a driver issue.

get a new Key and then unlock the game
