My new "beast"

My new form of transport to work and back home again. Cost me $1100 or so, no rego or license needed. Runs on batteries and goes a ludicrous 40km/h, so i just might be able to outride some homicidal dog; but not a cement truck. I tried it but it beat me.

The helmet is cool

Yep, you can use the pedals as if it were a bike. Using them actually charges the batteries as well. Work is only 7kms from home, but the path there is treacherous; full of traffic and bands of drunken teenagers.

But the cool Sturzhelm will protect me!

how long will it last get around say?

if you ran it none stop and need to recharge it is there many places to go to for a charge? if you need to?

i can see the good point it run clean.

bad points if you need to charge it up is there many places you can go for a fast charge? i see the good side no charge for gas.

i think i would go for a fuel type one, at lease you can buy a full tank fuel asap

watchout for trucker 18 wheeler with box trailer, they go by you......you will go flying. been there so i know.

bnib, thats on my to do list ...might add a minigun to the front at some stage too.

Hellboy, ROFL, you are person #3 to notice that. Dang namit.

Chris, would i lie to you?

Lucky, damn straight! However im still recieving some wierd looks from passers by. I'm just like "what the hell are you looking at!?"

~M!dn!ght$qu@11~, Yeah, depends what path you take. It doesnt handle bumps or potholes too well...and i cant outrun anyone who decides to chase after me lol. Thats why whenever im on this thing at night, i go into "evade and survive" mode, as i have already come across a band of drunken fools that were occupying the main road home, thsu forcing me to take a long detour through the scary forest. Yes thats right, there is a scary forest. But im not scared because im so manly.

lol, i yanked the motor out of a scooter like that the other day and made a generator out of it to keep batteries fer my inverter charged when the power goes out.

they usually have a permanet magnet motor rated at 24VDC and a cool 14.4A. put a new sproket on the motor and one on the 3HP Brigs and put a filter/rectifier system on it and ya can charge up 4 800CA DEKA deep cycle batteries witch will run a 2500watt inverter nicely for hours.

oh and a strang note, ya can supe up a powerweel scooter, lol, like the ones that kids play with, they usually have a crappy 6v electric motor that runs at low rpm.
but ya steel the 12VDC motor out of a battery operated sander running at a whoping 8000rpm and put in a 12v motorcycle battery it will grind off the plastic tires with me in it, lol
did that in my spare time where i work, bosses thought i was insane, lol.
