Virus or?

Hey whats up....

um... I keep reciving these e-mails from these people on HOTMAIL, and they have diffrent e-mails everytime. its weird like some e-mails are in spanish, and some are in English, and they don't know I know spanish haha.. Anyway, it says something like: blah.cpl, and I can not remember exactly what they say but it very erritating.. Does anyone know what the format ".CPL" is?? And has anyone else recived these e-mails?

*.cpl = control panel
*.scr = screen saver
*.eml = email file

These are some normal file extentions you will have.

They are usually grouped together in thier proper folders.
Do a search/find for these file types on your system.
If you find these files scattered about on your system,
you may have a potential prob..

If you find(example)
TinaGetsJiggyWitIt.scr
it could be harmful.
If you find(example)
BrittanyDancesNaKid.eml
it could be harmful.

Most top virus programs will usually check these file types.

Just move the JUNKFILTER to EXCLUSIVE ... works for me

I don't know why you would open any email with an attachemnt if you didn't know who the sender was and especially if it isnt a zip file.
