Altering DFLW skins...

I am looking to alter the skins of the soldiers in DFLW. I know that you have to use the pff extractor, but there are tons of files in there, which ones do I need to alter? Specifically I am looking to put a patch on my character, I know this can be done, at least I'm pretty sure it can be. Please Help!!!

Best thing I can tell you is check out Stevie B's toutorials. He goes step by step how to make ur first skin. The one you want to modifi is the .TGA I beleive. But dont quote me on it. LOL

say you had bright orange skins, you would have an unfair advantage over everyone and would be considered cheating

When DFLW just came out, there was this DFLW mod changer called 666-mods or sumfn. But when going online, I mostly got banned. So I asked myself why. Then I found out that mod changing was cheating, so I reinstalled DFLW and deleted this skin maker. so, better not scr*w around with the skins

Doesn't that include any/all altered textures, including terrains? I always wondered bout that, like LW exp, does it effect joining no skin servers.

it hasn't stopped me yet. exp is just additional maps, terrains, it doesn't really alter anything, because people without exp cannot play on those terrains, thus no one has any "advantage"

its not concerned with cheating as such, Rot means does having the EXP get u auto-punted from no-skin servers. which it doesnt.
