hmm, might have to go registry key hunting via the regedit window, you have a drop window in the edit tab that says find and you can search the registry for key words and it will usually find all the matches to a peticular name.
, or go into the msconfig screen and see if something is loading that isnt supposed to be loading. you will have some tabs that says startup and services, the services menu holds all the activated services that load with windows and some that are activated later, and it has a checkbox that allows you to hide all microsoft services and just shows you the services that were installed after windows. and the start tab, holds everything that is automaticly started with windows and if something is loading when windows starts up that isnt supposed to be loading you can uncheck the box next to the name of the object and restart and it wont load next time and then it makes it easier to uninstall a peticular item. Once on my friend's laptop, he didn't want to install Norton Antivirus 2005 (it was pre-installed you see), and I went into MS Config and disabled that process. I thought it would do something to his laptop when it boots up (because of this message box that popped up) but everything was fine luckily hehe...! Any luck yet Tril? Try using a different antivirus, or quarantine the file. Chris_OJB_DF645 --
