Two part problem

First: I have certain LW maps that I would like to convert to TFD. Is there a way to do it ? I have tried copying the maps in to my TFD folder but it gives an error saying that height map is not found.
Second: If not the whole map why not items in the map. Once again this has been tried and same error message shows up.
Please help or at least tell me if it is possible or not. Got a squad tryout map type thingy that would be awesome with the tfd weapons.

eh well i have been told that if u open the lw maps in tfd then just save into ur tfd folde it will work

but u must use tfd terrains or evry1 wil get sys when they join

there is a lw bms to tfd mis converter in the downloads page.

works very well

but don't forget to load them in the med and change the terrain

I've gone through this nightmare with several of my own maps ( http://www.arctic-wolf.org/maps/Arct...sDFTFDMaps.zip ) and if you have a mis file for each of your maps, you do NOT have to convert them over to open them in the editor, just simply open your TFD MED and then point it to the DFLW mis file and then open it. It will show up but there will NOT be any terrain. Like Stevie said, you need to find a terrain to use for it (good luck as the TFD terrains suck). Once you find a terrain, then you have to sit there and arrange the map to fit the terrain properly, and if you have tunnels? Better pack a lunch.

You guys rock! Ty for the quick response to this problem. Yeah i already tried to convert a tunnel sytem over and that is not going to be fun to straighten out. I will give this another try and then I will just have to start from scratch I guess. Ty again for your advice O' Map Gurus!
