More Spyware probs...

Im still having spyware flooding into my pc daily and i cant stop it the latest 1 has brought this toolbar onto my IE and it wont go away.

Ive tried 6 diff. adware programs they remove things but not this tool bar any1 know how to fix this or would it be better switching to Firefox?

yea try firefox but just use common sense and stop going on stupid sites. you know the kind of sites you get this cr@p off, just dont do it.

Steve i havnt been on the stupid sites since. i think ive learned my lesson unreal what it can do gonna try firefox (its on my other PC) ill send it through modem tonight

personally i use
spywareblaster
spybot
adaware

and i'm a bit harder on cookies. the above proggies have features u should enable like imunise etc. i never get annoying toolbars or dialers like my housemate gets from downloading and installing silly little .exe's etc either. with the tools above u should be safe from web hijacks at least. just take a little time to go through the options for extra security

Just sent firefox from old PC 2 this 1, no more search bar

it's a prog that specializes in removing those really pesky browser hijackers

1.) HijackThis Version 1.98.1 at 01.08.2004

2.) after you get it start it up press "Scan" when finish scanning [save] the info to log file (desktop)
3.) Copy the info in the log-file now.
4.) Go here make a thread and past all the info into it: http://wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=26

it take them 24-76hrs for a reply from them, they are tech's support they do this for free. They may tell you to delete dll or and to check-off items and e-mail them files so they can look over them. Bottom line you will be clean of adware/spyware crap 100% cleaning.

sounds like u got more of a virus than spyware....with all that spyware uve been getting.....

the techs can tell if it a virus they will know it fast, Some antivirus techs go there and see what is new they are really good for finding things that are not right at all, viruses, spyware, Trojan horse, auto dialers, and more "wilder security".

Allot of freebies come with extra junk files crap we all don't like.

add/remove programs? - most people forget about that and it iwll most likely get rid of it

add/remove programs? - most people forget about that and it iwll most likely get rid of it

Try X Clean i use it and it helps really good but i still get annoying pop ups while playing a game and they cause my game to minimize so when i exit the pop up and go back in game where my game minimized in task bar my ping goes really high and sometimes punts me then sometimes i go back in my game by clicking where it minimized game in task bar and my ping goes real high and it then kills me says visor is dead by lag kill or nova kill.It Gets Annoying Everytime i play like on 2nd or 3rd map every server ione of these 2 things happen to me when game minmizes.Ive Tried Blocking Cookies for sites that pop up and ive even tried Pop Up Blocker with Yahoo and Ive Looked for the Virus by scanning my computer nothing will detect this Spyware or Adware or Virus Whatever The Pop Ups are.They Wont Stop None of my things i just said i used will stop them and i dont run anything but my antivirus and game and thats how ive been doing it for years and never had a problem with my computer doing this.Still if i block the site that pops up or the sites that do there like ads and i block them on my virus scanner and still a pop up may come up that say Trend Micro has blocked this URL so im stil lscrewed when playing it will either punt me like i said or kill me.The Main Ad Popup That Comes up is Adshooter and second is partypoker.com and i never visitied these sites just started one day on some site i went to dont know what site.HELP ME PLZZZZZZZZZ And Chief Would Those Spyware and Ad Removing Programs U Said Would They Maybe Remove This Crap I Just Siad from Happening.

Also heres my spyware removal program i use go to www.xblock.com

PS.One Really Bad Adware and Spyware Program i found was Ezula copied itself like 3 times in a directory so i hada use My Spyware Removal Programand scan 3 times to get rid of it.

One More Thing I Usually Add Sites Im Not Familiar with or that i dont trust to my restricted sites list in internet options.I Can Tell if i really can trust it or not.I Usually Block Cookies in my internet options for that site too.

www.888.com is another to add to restricted site list guys......
