i know what ya mean circles can be a right pain
i find setting eliptical tool to fixed aspect ratio helps, also use select modify (contract,expand,border)to help get a circle inside another but hey this isn`t fool proof  sometimes with the stroke can be sorted real easy with the sharpen tool judging by your work you prolly already know these. keep em coming
