I tryed a optical wireless mouse but found it less responsive than a wired one for gaming.

Optical is definately the way to go.

Yeah I tested mine in my games and was impressed. It was sooooo responsive, my other mouse was a peice of.....The only thing I dislike about this one is the middle mouse button is not as easy to use as a jump button.

Optical is definitely the way to go.
same here think the wire one is more better and the data get sent faster and no mix-up or lost data is sent out. as the wireless it send out UHF signal to the receiver and it may get outside interference's some of the data may get lost or mix-up.

wire direct feed is so much better.

All so if you have a USB port that is Vr1.1 upgrade to a a USB-PCI-card is really cheap and the data flow is faster. cost very from USD-14.00 to USD-25.00 i got a 4 port external USB it use USB vr2.0 going to get a new card to upgrade the tower
1-USB card Vr 2.0 going to buy 2-3 ports USB
1-USB (i have) extra ex-4-ports V2.0 work with Vr 1.1 USB port but it slower so going to buy the card so it run faster. at this time its using the Vr1.1 ports on the tower.

I use the "Intellimouse Optical"

OK it does not look very fancy but it has 5 programmable buttons and can be used by right/left handed people.
Using the new v5.2 drivers I can program almost any button to any function.
It will also automatically change to different game settings when the relevant game or program is run.

lol @ big arc
the hand arcs naturally, even if u have a totally flat mouse, your had will still arc over it

iirc unless you have a Logitech Notebook mouse, your mouse will have a much higher profile / curve than the razer series of mice

Yeah but it is no good for people with stubby fingers. That arc is not as bad as my old wireless one though.
