Q/A From Novalogic

Here are some questions asked by FrankM of DFBlackHawk.com. We would like to thank FrankM for including dfhq.net in this Q/A and thank Mr. Beer for answering several questioins, even though some cannot be posted publicaly.

Here are some of the questions asked:

Q: Is the rumor true that DF - BHD will be delayed once more ?
A: There is no truth in this rumor whatsoever.

Q: Will Novalogic be adding further on-line support to there users (i.e. Novalogic forums ect. ect. )
A: We are always looking to add to and improve our online service. Unfortunately I cannot go into detail about any future plans at this time.

Q: Wes Eckhart commented that there would be more games in the DF series, can you tell us any more about it ?
A: The next game in the DF series is DF - BHD. That is the focus for the time being. I have no information to share about other titles at this time.

Q: Is Novalogic considering the ability of the community to hack there code so simply. I.E the All Weapons Patch and the Master Add-on and MED for DF - BHD Demo.
A: As previously mentioned in a Q&A on www.novalogic.com, there is no anti cheat/ hacking protection in the demo that is currently available.
This will be implemented in the final release of DF - BHD.

Q: Why has Novalogic chosen not to support co-op ?
A: Cooperative mode will not be included in the release version DF -BHD due to system resource issues. AI in co-op mode is very resource intensive and would tax the server beyond its design limits.

sorry Novaworld has never hosted any coop type maps
its always been the players who hosted it in Public and password area that is lame don't need to say more about nova is only killing off and had to come up with a reason
for it yea host it with 4-8 players for it is ok any more then that yes it will tax the server some

sorry panther but when has it been that novalogic.inc ever host it never not in DF2/DF:LW/DF:TFD they never have host coop

they didnt say NL severs, they mean ANY server.
recommended specs for the game are 1.4 GHz i think. thats without coop.

And there is no way to make coop=(?
