Website really slowing down..
I've added some PHP functionality to a site i'm working on, and it's seemed to really slow down =/
Maybe Scott or someone can answer this, but by closing the connection with mysql_close() on each page, could that slow it down that every page has to then connect to the DB again? Is there a better way of doing it than having connection strings on every page? |

Hmm I just checked my hosting company and they've put up a notice saying they're having some issues with various webservers. Thing is, I can't get on my control panel to find out if mine is one of them -.- so i'll assume it is.
But the question still stands ;P Surely theres a better way than connecting on every page? |
