I've only had one, cant remember the model but it was Logitech.
I prefer my wired mouse and keyboard now though. Don't have a need for wireless any more. |

My batteries last about two weeks. And they have a warning light when they die, I got mine because it is bluetooth so I don't need a stupid receiver usb transmitter.

I am pretty sure I only used the batteries that came with my wireless mouse.. And they lasted for months
As for cutting out, I've never had anything like that happen. Even if I stopped using it for about 10 minutes, it wakes up almost instantly when you move it. |

i've 4 or 5 different sets of wireless gear, tbh i dont really like wirelss stuff at all, there always seems to be problems one way or another. the only i use at all is a logitech one becasue it has a chargeable dock, and it's on my HTPC so a wired mouse is out of the question.
however i intend to replace it with a wireless keyboard with trackpad (like a laptop) or a trackball built in i deal a lot with ones that use blutooth instead of [erm whatever wireless mthod the regular ones use], but they are no more reliable, however they are pretty nice looking. my m8 has had the same batteries in his wireless keyboard for over 6 years :/ (uses pc every day). |

I really like my Logitech MX Revolution. Battery life is really good and i never have any problems with it cutting out. Stay away from Bluetooth if you intend to use if for gaming since they are ones that have the problems. Also the MX Revolution is chargeable.
