it seems an ok deal, but personally i would get a socket 939 board with 64-bit.

socket 939 is somewhat future proof as it supports the new generation of dual core amd's and the full range of single core cpu's.

I'd save up and get the new generation stuff, SLI video cards, 64 bit processors, higher ram... etc

i thought about the 64 bit cpus but personally i think its going to be awhile before 64 bit technology is useful in the home.. i mean Microsoft just came out with 64 windows xp.. there not any games that are 64 bit and if there are they have a 32 bit version... and i really don't want to spend 1000 bucks on 2 parts... i could buy a alienware system...( i love those cases)

How is this http://www.bzboyz.com/store/product135.html

compared to that ^^ (see quote)

i see 100 bucks difference for a 64 bit and 1ghz FSB!!!! vs 100 bucks less for 32 bit and 400mhz FSB?

the one thing that's gonna convince me on this cpu is that FSB!!! 1GHZ!!! i have 266mhz now.. and yalls opinion.

if i got the 64 bit one i would be dubbeling my clock speed (current is 1.1ghz that one is 2.2ghz) and more than tripleing my FSB.. and upgrading my L2 cache ( i think thats the one) my current is like 256KB and new is 512KB i think (not sure on any of that)
