video card
i am getting basically a new comp. and i want a nice video card.


what the best series for nvida, for example the 6000's or the ATI series

Get the 256 MB GForce 6800GT Ultra, few guys on my squad have it and they say it rocks. I am stuck with a laptop right now, but if I had a desktop, that is the card I would get.

i would get something with 256 megs of ram on it...

ive used nvidia b4 but when i tried out ATI i liked ATI better

I got the 6800GT 256mb a week ago, it is awesome! Down to personal taste I suppose, I've always been nvidia.

i have an ASUS 9980 Ultra (nvidia card) and it runs great

found on the net for around 300-400 (saw 1 for 600...lol)

i picked mine up for 100 even through a deal with my server hoster
