Vehicles.
I just have some vehicle questions.
I've read about AI subtypes, but I have no idea where to look for them. Here's what I want to do. The team starts in a specific area, A little bird and black hawk come in their direction. The little bird lands, and all the team members get on. The helicopters leave and take them to another area. The little bird lands, they all get off, then the helicopters leave. make an event
IF: ssn (LB) reaches waypoint (last waypoint in the path) THEN: ssn (lb) AI STATE TO LAND --next event-- use teleport targets to get the TM on little bird. insert the teleport targets where the little bird to land. set them as 1 2 and 3 IF: -delay for the time for them to land- EVENT (they land) true THEN: teleport ssn (TM) to teleport target1 teleport ssn (another TM) to teleport target2 teleport ssn (another TM) to teleport target3 ___________________________________ now you got them on the little bid ___________________________________ make an area trigger on the same spot as where player gets on little bird. ____________________________________ IF: ssn (player) in area trigger and EVENT (teleported guys on.) happened THEN: ssn (littlebird) AI STATE for follow waypoint redirect ssn (littlebird) (waypoint for wherever u want them to go) redirect ssn (BH) do the same fo rthem ssn (PLAYER) "special state" (its called guarding in 2.05b) group (teamates) "special state" ______________________ now you got the helis heading towards wherever. ________________________________________ IF: ssn (LB) reaches waypoint (last waypoint) THEN: ssn (LB) AI STATE TO LAND IF: (delay for time till it lands) event (LB landed 2nd time) THEN: ssn player "special state" OFF! group "special state" off! ________________________________________ now u got the guys off the heli ________________________________ make an area trigger right next to where the little bird is IF: event (guys off LB) ssn player in area trigger THEN: ssn ai state to follow waypoints redirect ssn LB... TO GET THE **** OUT OF HERE! we dont need to hear from it anymore. you can do the same for the BH |
