Finally... windows 7 is installed


It found my ethernet driver right off the bat.


While nvidia didn't have any drivers for win 7, and while the installer wouldn't complete the install because it thought it wasn't in windows, going to device manager, telling it to update video card drivers and pointing it to the nvidia uncompressed files installed the drivers for my old geforce 440-mx video card.


So far, I love it.

Its running on an older computer tolerably (1.5Ghz cpu, 1.5 Gb of ram).


Tomorrow going to see how BHD handles it


I have had one blue screen of death so far, happened when I went to check out the screen savers.

Is yours an nvidia chipset? I heard that on msdn they have a driver kit that you can use.
