BOMB DEFUSED AT PRIMARY SCHOOL

Army bomb disposal experts have defused a small improvised bomb near a primary school in the heart of the Rev Ian Paisley's constituency.

The device was discovered by school maintenance staff in a hedge at Harryville Primary School in Ballymena, Co Antrim.

The school and a number of nearby houses were evacuated and the device was eventually made safe.

Last month, the school was evacuated and pupils taken to a nearby park as Army bomb disposal experts defused three viable pipe bombs near the school.

However police are not linking the find with the September 12 bombs.

it could be some teens trying to push it be-on to stop all of it.

don't think a grown-man or women would go after children's school. if they did that is totally sad to go after gods children's in this manner.

i am glade they found them in good time and remove them. person i really think some teen place it there.

yes it could be some teen tryin to start things, but i wouldnt rule out the possibility of it being a grown up chief, there's some VERY, VERY sick minded people in the world these days!!!

we get bomb threats here all the time, its a bit old, having to leave class cause some idiot thought it would be funny

i doubt it was teens.. u would be surprised how these groups act, they target anyone of any age

Happens all the time but sad.

That was true to out school though, was a grown man that did the same, think we ware evecuated 4 times during 3 years, they finnaly cought the guy though, was 7 during the first Evac scary thing to experience at 7 but you got used to it (sadly). That happend to me in 1992 and 3 years forward.
