There was this American Tourist traveling in Europe and during
his visite to Italy he had to visite the public facilities.he goes in
and there's this Italian standing next to him also doing his buisness.
the italian looks at the American and says " European"
the American says " no i am an American "
agaian the Italian Says " European..! "
the American again says " No I said i am an American..! "
the Italian say's "no no no ..European on my shoe..! "

thats what did general Cornwalace in ,all those French ships in the harbor but since that time they have changed they put up a meagar fight in ww2 and retreated when they saw death
coming down thier throat this created a quick surrender.how ever they were out numbered by superior numbers and firepower the film of thier retreat made them look cowardly
thier resistance forces did the best job that they could under the circumstances.also Inspector Clouseau was thier most magnificent accomplishment who represented the common Frenchman
