eek My first try on making a BHD map 56ker's Beware!!!!

Ok, well this was my first try on making a map in Dfbhd, needless to say, it even made me laugh my ass off.

Map: Junk Yard

One word of advise.....Don't make your map and then put the terrian into the map, LMAO!!!

Oh, yeah baby....Floating buildings....

Hey, one building THAT'S EXACTLY ATACHED TO THE GROUND!!!!

Stupid building!!!!

Hey, mommy look! There's a black hawk down helicopter in the ground!!

WOW...Who ever is driving that car HAS MAD SKILLS!!

Boy, nobody is getting through MY walls!!

Hmmm....I forgot why I put a machine gun here.....

Here's my mile long bridge on...errr....Land...

I need to lose some weight.....Run run run!!!

Ahaha!!! I finally got to were I wanted to be...

Continued....

This just shows how glitchy my map really is...Look closely at these three pics.

Heheh...I'm like a zombie....Coming through the ground to own your n00b ass.

Well, this was my first attempt....And..err...yeah...But, I going back at it with a map called Street Kaos.....And this time it will actually work, lol.....

Now, the only question is...Can anybody actually make a glitchery map then me?! :P

Cheers, -Kelisis

The reason why your Geocities account keeps losing bandwidth is because your images are TOOOOOOOOOOO large.

I saved the first 6 from the first two links and that was a grand total of 3 megabytes of imagery

I dont know how you have managed it given that you obviously have the facility to convert your PCX to JPG.

To prove the point I converted the 6 pictures in Photoshop.
I resized them so they were small enough to fit on a browser (500 wide) and optimised using the jpeg optimisation tool to about 60%.

The 6 pictures now weigh in at 145kb.
Download the ZIP I made with them all in and see how they compare, you will find there is very little quality deprecation and you should now be able to host them on your geocities site without losing bandwidth AND 56kers need no longer "beware".

If you are interested in making quality image content that can be viewed on the internet by all users (rather than the 5% that is broadband customers) then download and use this program.

Its free and I am assured its top banana. You can view all image types and convert and optimise them as you need to.

For now check the images that I have made 20 times smaller files size by checking this zip.

And no, Geocities will not allow anything stored on their servers to be viewed on anothers.
