lol, we sold some like that for 5$ at the thrift store, i have 1 that is all cast iron and used cloth ribbon and is about 100yr old, i gota take a can of WD-40 to it for it a little sticky.

there are quite a few businesses that use them still for checks and other important documents. Atleast our business does.

they go higher as will for brand new one chrispy,
use one's they pretty cheap to get your hands on one.

i seen a 1.200.00 type writer! it was like less then a year old sell for like 35.00 in a yard sell, they don't sell will as reuse type writers go. counts on the brand name and how new it is.

LMFAOO you took my post Chris! Chris isnt in the market for one, I am in the market for a car gaming wheel and this came up in the search and I was thinking "wtf?" a typewriter? So i posted a link in our squad forum.

Where i work they still have a typewriter, just one and its used for just one form thats needed to be filled out because someone in the office doesnt know enough about word to recreate it as a form. Also its from the early 80's and wont be replaced if it fails.

for particular legal documents if you want dont want to write them by hand youll need to use a typewriter...
