Map Height Issue...

When I create a terrain based from this guide: http://www.novahq.net/pages/tutorial...terrain02.htm, I'm given a No Height Map error when I run it in DF:TFD, This is not true I created a height map based off of the terrain I made from the guide. So when I open the TFDMED map editor and create my map and then play/test it I'm given the error?

Any thoughts?

I've tried saving the format differently, but nothing, is there a certain way I have to save the pcx?

guess i should reply seeing as i wrote the dam thing , although it was a few years ago :/

the only thing i can think of at the moment, is

1, triple check the spelling of the file.
2, rename an existing heighmap that you know works (a stock one for example), obviously it wont look right, but it should enable you to narrow down the problem. as you say it could well be a save option.

I'll try that. Although I did look at the spelling, I did not think to rename them all.

tbh it's quite a difficult thing to explain, hence all the different sections. i would be easier to do a video for it i guess. tbh i would have to read the guide myself to do all that stuff again hehe i cant remember that stuff any more.
