Freezing problem

Hi,

I keep having this problem when i play dflw for a length of time.....

its sumtin to do with my nvidia tnt2 32mb video card.

when i am playing my screen freezes during dflw and then after a min or so the computer resets and cums up with the system has recovered from a serious error caused by nvidia tnt2.....

i am on win xp on a amd athlon 1700xp with i htink 128m ram (theres a sticker that says ddr266 dunno wat that is )

my game is latest version..

plz help....its not that important but i would like to fix it..

Nvidia and WinXP are a problem
I used to get that every couple fo hours.

Its a driver problem and it was cause by Ndisp4 or something.

I know of a guy with THE top Nvidia Geforce4 128mb who cant have his PC running for more than a hlaf hour.

The only thing that worked for me was perserverance. I kept sending the error report everytime and eventually when I checked on Windows Update there was an Nvidia Driver fix.

I have no idea how to hunt down this driver fix at Microsoft but it exists.

You could try having a look at Nvidia website or the card manufacturer to se if they have a driver fix but in my experience they werent helpful.

Or you could upgrade (and with a TNT its time to) and get a non-nvidia card. (Thats what Panther did lol)

Hi, I've got the same problem on win 98 with a ge force 3, I get screen freeze upto 30 mins into a game or sooner and have to reboot, pain huh. I've updated all drivers got directx 8.1, someone suggested to check the power ratings on the pc as the vid card may be pulling to much juice, sounds fair. I think for some reason nvidia cards have trouble with this game, I will let you know if I get anywhere.

download the current version of the Detanator drivers. I have a geforce3 ti200 and XP and have no problems.

i got that drivers... i think i still get it... only when i been playing df for 2 long tho lol... time 2 get off lol...
