bhd modification

hello
i'm looking for some people with tallent that want to start a df bhd mod
i've mailed novalogic to ask for some support with the script and all, and still waiting for some awnsers...
when the awnsers are positive the mod can be build when the full game is out..

I would like to get into some of this. I haven't played DF2 much though. I could just get it from my friend and transfer the files.

but first i need to know if BHD can be modded (the scripts)
i've seen some nice weapon mods and skins here
so there must be people that can help !
i woulden'r see this mod as something i did, becuz i don't know anything about the scriptings only thing i can is design textures and websites, i coul'd provide some webspace and domain name...
so i'd like to see this mod(if it's possible to make) as something the whole df community worked on !
so people that know a lot about these things and spended hours playing some kick ass df2 just have to help making this thing reality !

it would be good if u get veedback from NL but they area as tight as a ducks @$$. i like the idea u have for sure. and i'm sure it will take off - i know a lot of people would like this.

one main problem is that there is too much secrecy between MOD groups in the DF Community. together they can do pretty much everything, but they don't share, info if kept locked into these small groups and then things don't get completed and the info is lost. i can do limited stuff like textures, mapping etc but i have pretty much shared everything i know - http://stevieb.dfhq.net

NL haven't helped at all with modding so far - not that im totally against that - i mean i don't think i would be 100% happy if i released a game and a bunch of hackers came and chopped up the game to 'improve' it. but hey it worked for counter-strike

NL are lucky that ppl still play their games that are like 5 years old. credit to them but surely modding will increase the life of the game? well it does IMHO. ppl will find a way to mod the game the easy way or the hard way - HELP US OUT NOVA

i agree about the waiting for the full version. i don't think people should waste time on a demo.
