105 today, yay, with 110 degree heat index.

well got our thunder and lightning last night , from about 2:30 AM to 6AM.. worst ive seen here in ages (wasnt fork lightning) but was constant

anyway, i dont think we had a thunderstorm, either that. or I'm a really heavy sleeper.

i work in a un arconditioned room that hits 90* every day and i sleep in a un airconditioned room woth no windows at night, i eat my lunch in my car in 103*F wether and sit in the sin while doing it and i dont sweat much.
mattr of fact it was 87* in my room this morning and i wasnt even sweating.

the key is to stay out from under the AC as much as possable so ya body can get used to the temprature.

if you stay in a cold room al day ya get used to it and as the thermostat goes up ya get used to it being cooler and cooler and ya tollerance for heat dissapears.

up to 4 year ago i didt even have a window unit to my name,had a box fan blowing in 1 window and out the other and did just fine in 104+* weather.
the only air condition i have in my car is the old 2-60 type, 2 windows down 60MPH.

heat index is just something we crazy Americans came up with to make it sound worse than it is.

it is supposed to be the temp calculated with the morsture or something telling ya what it feels like.
