Unfair Detention, you tell me!

I think the reason you got detention is because he warned you not to say it and you said it anyway.

i totally agree with atholon, its cus you was told not to and you still did, you only have yourself to blame. just take the punishment and learn from it, you dont have to agree with what your teachers say, you just have to do what they say. just think of it as if you were in his shoes, you told one of your pupils not to say something and then they go say it, of course you discipline them, its all part of growing up, i been there many times before when i was at school

it was 3 9 weeks difference i hardly doubt he remembers it, ok get this, i am not real good at math, so i am in a class where they take extra time on it, the only white kid basically cause i don't try, well, if they say "jesus christ" they get off, cause they are black, he is worried he'll get in trouble and called a racist due to this time in age, people will fuss about anything.

if i was your father i would say: son don't be saying that in school i don't care if other kids getting away with it, your my son and if your not happy so am i so please lay off it.

will can you change to another class (teacher), not have to deal with that teacher any more?

there is a option to it, talk to a school consoler tell them what is going on with you and see if they can change your class to another one. it ether that go to another school that is near by you if there is one.

lol school can be lame alot of the time dude, i HATED my math teacher this year, she couldn't teach a kid to add with he life depended on it...

so when i was talking to my friends (and the rest of the class was talking too) she picks on me .. how disrespectful i am to her...lol .. ok .. there was this one kid who called her a complete jack ass in so many words every day and she just laughed along with the class...but she uses the excuse that i slept a few times in the beging of the year ... lol .. like 5 months later she uses that excuse .. unreal...

only reason i got detentions though this year was for being late...and when i showed up the teachers like "screw it you can go" .. guess they don't wana be bothered during their lunch ...

VooDoo, you think you hated your math teacher? Mine couldn't add, seriously. He was working out a math problem and subtracted 16 from 18 and got 3. He didn't react quick enough to correct his mistake. Infact, he didn't react at all. He just kept on working the problem. Another kid had to correct him. He talked to himself too. :/

lmao EDGE..yea it seems to be these crazy math teachers. Oh man i had one that was crazy! He would also talk to himself in 3rd person tho lol. "Teacher is getting angry at class now" & "teacher thinks class needs to calm down" ..i have no idea how he got hierd. He also threw a marker at the wall made a dent in a poster that he had put up and went over to rub the dent and practically was depressed about it the rest of class..MATH TEACHERS..wowzers lol

In the past, he warned me once, the first 9 weeks, about how to not say Jesus Christ, I asked him if he was religous, and he said yes, to me it sounds like we got a case of he is offended, and he thinks its fair to give me a detention, seperation of church and state, state's that he is not allowed to do this, which I am using in my argument, cause I am too lazy to wake up and serve them.

ahahaha....thats funny....

but my teacher sucked...ssooo bad...one time a SUB came in, and the class asked him how to do something..and he did it, and they got it, and then there all like "can you be our teacher?" ... i mean .. a sub .. being a better teacher than the actuall teacher..
