Biscotti is NOT biscuit.
Cookie is Biscuit. In the UK a Cookie is a particular type of Biscuit, the crumbly chocolate chip kind (sometimes with nuts).

Biscotti for dunking in wine and coffee? It's Italian, has to be.

LOL traditionaly served at 3-4pm. At work we eat Biscuits and Tea at around 11am but yes, we do sample some tea and biscuits at about 3 and 4 pm too!

You will find, Dr Bullet that English tastes are similar to US and probably as similar to the US as you will find in Europe.
I suspect the Southern states have more in common with North of England when it comes to food though.

Dilute?
If you know ANY Englishman who drinks his tea weak, then send me his name and I will have his passport confiscated.

I like my tea so thick you can keep a spoon upright in it.

My Logo is from The 1st Hussars, my BF1942 and assorted games squad.
It is a tank that has been rolled upside down by an inept 1st Hussar, being bombed by an inept Hussar friendly. The cross before is a spanner, representing the fact that a 1st Hussar would rather repair his teams vehicles and gain no glory for the good of team, and a bottle of Toilet Duck which is a lavatory cleaner.
Some Hussars claim to drink it when they are short of short spirits.... I don't know why either...

Well there are whole bunch of them in BAe, having it as dilute as water and cold as Coke and calling it freaking tea. Revolting!

I used to have Double Expresso and call football SOCCER, just to get the kick.

I prefer a triple espresso my self. It's about time you Yankees gave a proper name to that girls version of rugby you play as well. Soccer will do it. 3 Billion people around the world have no use for that word anyhow.
