when i was at uni, they had Netscape Never-get-there
there was sites that didn't load, missing content, missing images, messed up coding. so 2 or 3 years ago IE was much more handy for checking the net as i could see what everyone else could see.

Netscape is great so far. I've had it for a couple weeks now. No popups. I can't load .tk sites though. Like I care, lol.

IE and Opera (find IE faster but then I never payed for it so its probebly the ads eating the bandwith.

Firefox has gotten good remarks for security, but still it craches for lot less then IE does. Firefox is capable to keep more complex things away, but small tiny easy loop scripts is a pain with Firefox as it can't battle them. IE and opera however can beat these. Scripts that loops things over and over again, and can cause your prossessor to fry.

If there are programs to block the bad things that come through, and IE is fastest and runs every website, why use something else? And really, unless you're at porn or warez sites, you don't get much of that anyway...

Call me old fashioned, but it doesn't make sense to me...
