The initial 4 clays you were allowed to lay "active" befor meant that any team in a match could lay a virtual minefield for the opposing side to wade through befor being able to "clear" a zone etc..now with the only 2 clay rule its made the game alot better and makes sure that players have to work harder to control a game....a big improvement as far as im concernd.....the next update should have a "new#...." and "mongoose" remover in it as SOME of the people that continually use these names when entering a server continually Murder their team mates, are abusive and just generally P1ZZ decent players off...i know theres programs for servers which can stop them entering or you can always punt /ban them but it'd be alot easier just removing the default name and making it easier for "N00bs" to put in their own player name (which alot dont seem to be able to do)...all in all i think BHD has improved with the update now all we need is DFFaves to include it and we can get a few DFFaves only servers up and get rid of those annoying N00bs who dont seem able to play a "normal" game....lets hope BHD is sorted soon and it doesnt end up the same as DF2 which is now a cheat infested waste of good web space....

You Make some fair points in that post bob. I've often wondered why the name "Mongoose" keeps appearing considering BHD has been out quite a while now but your post explains at least one of the reasons why.

What I don't like is this reference to "noobs", every one is a "noob" to start with and I don't think anyone is that thick they can't work out how to change their name!

Your absolutley right about DF2 bob and it's a damn shame because that was once, a great little game and cheating has ruined it!

LETS PLAY THIS GAME WITH SKILLS NOT DUMB LUCK.
First off. You are insulting every single decent American soldier who served in Vietnam, Somalia, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I have a severe problem with you calling them Chicken****s

Second. The claymore mine is a weapon of war. Despite your opinion of it, it is used in warfare as a tactical weapon. Due to your ignorance of military tactics or your inability to humble yourself before those who play better than you, you see it as a cowards weapon. You can blow a claymore before it kills you. However bullets travel to fast for you to see... so you can't stop them either. Are all of us who use our guns chicken****s too?.

pay attention to the last line of what you wrote. "LETS PLAY THIS GAME WITH SKILLS NOT DUMB LUCK."

Play the game with skill. Stop your whining and learn how to check your corners you sissy.

In regards to BADDOG's statement about sniping being considered chicken.

I snipe 98% of the time I play BHD and a few people have even posted on here about it. LOL ....If you think sniping is easy or that the snipers are chicken or scared. Well you try going out 800-900 yards out, locating a target (which is more often than not moving) and then placing one round into that target so they don't locate your position. It takes alot more skill to hit a moving target with one shot than it does to "spray and pray" or "nade". However I'm not trying to take anything away from the sprayers and prayers or the naders. Just remember that the only reason you get mad at snipers or naders or sprayers is because they killed YOU... not the other way around.

Cool

I don't mean any disrepsect to those who like to snipe, in fact I quite like to have a go at sniping myself. I was just pointing out that like sniping, being a gunner etc, using clays are a legitimate part of the game, when used correctly. They are not an "easy kill" and for those who don't like them, then you have the option to disable their use on your server.

We all have our own preferences as to how we play the game, what weapons we like to use etc but all theses weapons including clays are there to be used in the game.

Right on dude!!! Anyway, I bet if the server could gave you only 1 life or even 3 lives (spawn) to play within 1 game, then everyone will actually "LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP".

Players know that they have unlimited respawn so they tend to use the "RAMBO" method throughout the game. Picture yourself there in the frontline then you'd know how, when, why & where to look before you leap.

Clays or no clays.... play the game, know the game, and beat the game..... stop whining and start WINNING! I usually let my bullets do the talking. LOL

Instead of having a skill rating on nova maybe they should have a whining level they know who they are from NW forums so all the whiners end up in their very own server and all us that just play the game get the better servers.

I should just start hosting again so I can kick the whiners.lol

I like it Sal a whining server lol! Everyone could go there have a good old moan and leave the rest of us to get on with enjoying the game!

I wonder if someone could up with a "Punt this whining git to the whining server" application lol lol?

Cool

I've found that someone placing a clay in an amoury seems to get blown up by it on the way out! I think overall it's better with fewer claymores and the game seems to me to flow better as a result.

See I like it if those annoying little bastards get blown up by their own claymore when laying them in the amory. Nothing more irritating then going to change rifles and getting splattered all over the side of the armory wall.

Cool

I have to say I agree with American-Sniper about clays in the armoury. It is very annoying to get blown up in there and maybe the game should have been designed for the entire armoury to have been destroyed by a claymore explosion, at least that way it would make some players think twice before doint it.

I don't care how many clays you got as long as they kill both teams...

Nova should make it possible for us to disarm those claymores. Maybe we could go to crouch or prone positon by it's side or back (not front) & disarm it with our knife or something & then reuse it or reposition it somewhere else. Give it a 3-5 second "disarm time". Maybe only the CQBs has the ability to disarm the clays, since we dont have "combat engineers" in delta.

just a suggestion... whadyathink?
