the sun particles was history making, except it all went to hell on re-entry.

NASA sent up the machinery to orbit around the sun and collect particles dislodges from the sun durig solar flares, this is as close to whatthe sun is made of as were going to get for a long time. Upon reentry the plan was that the parachutes would deploy, and then helicopter stuntsmen would fly helos in with hooks and carry the craft safely back to earth, as the parachutes wold entail too hard a landing. The trouble was the parachutes didnt open and the plates with the particles were contaminated uponimpact, they didnt get much use outof themin the end.

NASAs worried because there are a few other projects out there atm which uses the same parachute technology...

I dont worry. no use of getting worked up at something that i cant do anything about. i just say make the most of the time ya have left cause we never get enough of it. and as for the possabilities of a hit. it happened b4 it will happen again.
