Will probebly get up to £100 a litre in the end, but i hope that will be far away. If the situation in Iraq could be stable it should drop a bit atleast. But it seems distant at the moment

Update. It was actually $2.27, i mistook the 1 and the 2. But now it's $2.29...I've seen as high as $2.34 in my town.

Anyone here from California...kinda interested on how much it is there since the cost of living is so much.

$2.09 is cheap gas (and the lowest you'll find), $2.35 is premo. Spent $40 putting 3/4 of a tank in my truck today. Fookin Shell robbed me dry. I wish we'd open more refineries here and actually let the American oil flow. I guess they're saving it for a rainy day...

Heh, I remember being appalled at it hitting $1.50. These prices are what make me think "neutron bomb the middle easy"...and it's all for the oil this time. If OPEC wants to rob us, we'll just rob them...argh!

Very true. Which is why I believe we should have a government sponsored alternative energy contest, like the space contest that Burt Routan won. If we can find another way to fuel our vehicles, we can kick out opec's legs from underneath them. That's my goal in life, to kill opec, lol.

Just drove by the gas station today and it was $2.25 at the north end of Carson City, NV. That's unleaded regular, of course. Diesel is up to $2.45 in some places. Makes truckin' a bit expensive!
