.Wac files
Hello there soldiers,
I was asking myself....is there a way with a .wac file to calculate the amount of bad guys left in a game ( single player or coop ). I remember seeing this before but i cant recall on wich game it was. example : in a game i have lets say 10 bad guys i would like it to display the number of bad guys left in a upper corner of screen. thanks |

Well, DFBHD only displays .wac generated messages in the lower left corner of the screen (in single player missions), so it might not have been DFBHD that was doing this.
And I'm 99% sure this isn't possible in any simple way for DFBHD. You could script up some seriously specific .wac coding triggering messages for each specific SSN, but it would require SSN numbers and mission variables, and I personally feel it's a lot more convenient to just press F10 now and then.

As far I knew of it, anyone playing a BHD user made map with a WAC file included will need to make a shortcut to the game with the command "/d" added to initialize the WAC and make it work.
Is this the case with TS? |

The /d target-line tag instructs the dfbhd.exe to search the Directory it's currently in for game files, as well as the various .pff files, so the /d is essential to the expanded DHFBD and TS experience, yes.

Thanks Baldo, so for anyone else reading this it looks something like this...
Shortcut Properties Target Code:
"C:\Games\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down Team Sabre\dfbhd.exe" /d |
