i laughed lik hell at that movie when they said the motor in the car had a highrise dubblepumper, lmao, there isnt such a creature, atleast they can ask a car nut about it b4 making an ass of themselves.
but the old yellow car set up right would royaly eat the newer car. |

Lol god bless power steering though. I would want to control 500 pounds of torque without power steering

power steering helps when the car is not moving, once it is moving then the steering gets easier with no power steering. for highway driving no power steering is actualy better because there is a bit of play in the steering so every move you make doesnt affect where the car is going. with power steering on the highway the steering is always affected even if you move your hand on the wheel 2-3 milimeters. so grab your drink and hand moves that much because your whole body moves and the car follows suit.
so 500 ft pounds of torque in a car with no power steering and one that does have wont matter a whole hell of a lot. unless the car is not moving. but anyone would rather have the more precise steering with that much power. The mustang has a straight six under the hood, so gas isnt much of an issue when i drive the 8 miles to and from work. the f250 with the big block was a hog, 12 mpg highway. but it could tow anything and melt all 4 tires in 4wd. hehehe did that....
