type of remarks: Race, nationality, creed...ect if don't suit you then don't post about it! if it going to be hateful or distasteful remarks to others.

i know some nice Scottish people as will. you will always find some bad one, but i don't go about bashing them as a whole for some bad apples. same can be said about the people in Iraq as will and other people around the world. you will always find good and bad people in country,s around the world.

I apologise unreservedly for my comments. English national pride (and Scottish) is a phenomena that is probably indescribable to people from outside the UK. We have many hundreds of years of animosity and friendship with the Scots and to compare us as one and the same is as offensive to the Scots as it is to the English, albeit, lighthearedly.

As it happens I am the first English born son of a Scottish family that dates back to 1400 and something so officialy (and as far as my grandad and father are concerned) I am a Scot. However my Mother is English and so, therefore, am I.

The reference to Arabic Canadians was an ironic statement refering to the fact that Devildog is neither Arabic nor Canadian but could easily be mistaken as such by the ignorant.
Just as Europeans and Americans think Scottish and English are the same when we patently are not.

I'm sorry no one appreciated the irony and I'm suprised that DD didn't, but mainly I'm sorry that I offended anyone at all because that absolutley was not my intention.

last time i was in Scotland the girls dancing out in the open and they had on Scottish skirts on, back in 1982-1983 was wild to see them dance the Scottish jig out in the open high kicking as will.

i was there TDY training with the U.K Air born reg, Edinburgh stay at a old keep near the city. think it was like the north eastern side of the city.

meet some girl last name blackbird? she was a bet weird for my taste too young back then jail time! she always came by the base (keep) looking me up, i was 22 and she was i think 15 or 16yrs old back then.

after 90day i gone back to U.S

i remember something she ask think it was the american thing to smoke fags (in the U.K they call Cigarette Fags not the same in the U.S) i did clear that up with her told her no way it world wide and she should not smoke at all.
