Whats up guys... I just wanted to let everyone know i'm starting up a new site http://df-foxhole.com. Its basically a resource site with game accessories, maps, forums, etc... Feel free to drop in and post in our forums, and help get the word out to help the site grow...

Well following their recent track record we have to wait til they port DFX to the PS2 and my cellphone first

I used to run df-foxhole about 3 or 4 years ago i think it was, and just now started it back up... I don't know if anyone ever ran inbetween that time or not though.

lol at one time i tryed to run it, then gave up on it in about 5 months and that is what started me to learn to code (maily cuz i had so many problems and did a little hitting the computer lol) but anyways gl with everything, use to vist your site back in the day

thanks, yeah gonna try to keep it up for awhile again and hopefully get some help along the way... its hard to keep up a site by yourself, especially when u have to keep up other sites too lol

i think we will not see another Novalogic inc game for two more years from now. they trying new things out and i think they got a lot of work ahead to get with the time.

hey magnum question,

who hosts your website an can you help me make a site like yours an this using php (of course) an using byethost.com (a free website an php hoster)(sets up databases) can you or will you magnum please ?? i just want a pro site like yours but i dont understand php to much an i dont know what to download an i can only make html based sites but really want to make on like yours. I asked friends if they new but none of them are as much of a comp. geek as i am. so can you?? heres what ive been working with so far:

mag's site is phpnuke based not php, php nuke is a cms made up of php and mysql databases, and you can not set up a phpnuke site i dont think on freewebs you would need to buy your own web hosting , o nice html template u got there

Like topgunners said I don't think freewebs allows php/mysql db... There may be a couple free ones out there that will, but usually require you to allow there popup ads and things which can be annoying... Best bet is to get a small hosting plan somewhere, shouldn't cost very much and go that route... That is a nice html template you have up though.

techinically just one database, multiple tables

but he hit it on the spot. i'd suggest looking at something like http://sitegrounds.com (it's fast, cheap, and easy to use).

Scripts i'd suggest using for a site:

phpBB (a lot of great squads funciton off of just forums...great mods for it too)
phpNuke (it's ok...though more for a full on site not just a squad site)
i dunno where to look but Scott has a great squad site built in php/mysql lying around
