newegg.com has the oem version (non-upgrade) on sale right now for $89 (sale ends today, it also has free 3 day shipping).
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116056 I think its normal price is $95. (not including shipping, which is I think $5) IcI |

Why buy the upgrade anyways? Just get the full retail or OEM.. like ici said newegg probably has the best prices.

Yes, but you have to order an other computer part at the same time, I don't know what you would have to get from them to qualify for the oem version.
You have to do the same thing at newegg.com... They have you order a 99 cent power-supply adapter, then give you a 99 cent discount on that cable. IcI |

I want to upgrade my ME to XP HE.
Amazon has the best price <http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Wind...276068?ie=UTF8> $98.00 minus the S&H. But I don't pay for S&H. Prime member Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. |

a shame to pay $89 for an upgrade, when for a few dollors more you can get a full version.... Also, it said on that page that that item wasn't eligable for Amazon Prime....
new egg has XP home edition SP2b oem for $90 + 5 shipping ($95 total)... I personally stay away from upgrades. Back when XP came out every one kept talking about problems they had... the common factor among them was that they had upgraded. I never had a problem. Plus, I don't think you can install the upgrade with out having a previous windows verion cd laying around.... IcI |

i would stay away from upgrades also.. esp if you can get the full (That can also upgrade) for the same price. You never know if that computer will have problems.. if you have to format you have to install ME and then upgrade to XP again.. On top of that upgrades never go as well as a fresh install.
