Must Be Some Autorun

Must Be Some Autorun

Usually autorun, I dunno. Try Safe Mode if you need to.

Chris, it cant be a autorun when it is on bootup.

Chief, have you looked into the BIOS? Maybe if you remove your CD and floppy from the boot order it will work normal?

^ What he said ^

In your bios there should be options to specify:
1. First boot device.
2. Second boot device.
? 3. Third boot device.

Change one of these to "Hard Drive" or "HD" etc..

My bios is set to:
1. Floppy
2. CD-ROM
3. Hard Drive

Usually the way to change a setting is to use the arrow keys to highlight the option, then use the "+" & "-" to change the setting.

Don't forget to "Save & Exit".

Boot Disk

Boot Disk

Probably you need to make an XP Boot Disk then once it is at Startup select Run with CD-ROM support.
I do not know if this is related to this but with CD-ROM support then you are in luck.

Just make sure one of your boot devices is selected as "Hard Drive".

as it stands i return the HHD & all DVDs/CDs trays cables back the to PCI card controller to late damage already done.
