Sliced Image and displaying in web
How do we do that? I seem to be struggling with displaying a picture on web. Thanks in advance.
PS. No spam please. I'll get it delete. That's a promise! |

SPAM!! - lets see you get that deleted
as i understand it the premise of slicing an image and displaying it is simply a matter of cutting the image up into x amount of images and rebuilding it in a table. I always founf it easier to do it manually, allows more control if youre actually looking to do something with the table.... |

uh, i don't agree with mike(ok, ok, i'll get banned, now, i know) you can just use photoshop, you make your image, then use the cutting tool to slice it, you assign links or whatever by selecting slices with the selection tool (right click on cut tool) and editing options (right click on selected slice - edit options), then you go to File - Save for Web, and you''l get your image sliced and an html file made, all the slices are put bt default in a folder called "images" and you just open the html and you'll see the entire image, complete with links on the slices
only one thing: how can i get rid of the fact that when i put my mouse over an image (i.e. a slice on my html page) it shows a pop-up ribbon, the one standard of internet explorer, with these icons to save the image??? |
