I'm working on that situation, lol. I have two that both work great, and another that is temporarily gutted.

I just got spysweeper. It's a great program.

yea i like what it cover, start up on desktop then click-on "shield" man it cover a lot of areas more then others i try in the pass.

I have a crappy PC that has been our Spyware machine but now my family has been getting on my machine and sticking a buncha crap on it.

I set up my stuff so that I put anything that could be shady on another partition. That makes for a good first defense. Then I have XP auto backup every day just in case it gets really nasty (or I screw something up). I only had to use it once...and that's when it was my fault

I have a Win2k partition that I copy all my crap on to when I need to reinstall XP. I had viruses leach onto em so be carefull you scan those files before putting em back on.
