I don't recommend at all actually lol. I bought one with my graduation money and very limited on things you can do after you buy it.

Once I figure out a system to manage and save moeny. I'm going to buy a desktop again

Keep away from Dell, Compaq, etc they are sh*t. They have more repairs needed than any other laptop around.

If you want my advice, get an evesham 17inch with a 3.0ghz processer, they are pretty reliable and we only get around 1-2 back per week for repairs whereas Dell, etc we get 60-80 per week.

I work at a company called Mitac (Europe)

They do all the repairs etc, Thats just my 2cents.

Good advice.
I'd get one of [these].
Pretty expensive though.

Laptops with amd are hard to find.. I got an Acer and I love it, all except the graphics is intergrated so games do not run well. If you want graphics I would get at least an ati x300, x700 or radeon 9600/700 if you can find it..

But I can do almost everything with my laptop except games..

Hmm, I have a Dell laptop, never once have ever had a problem with it, and it's a P3 600mhz, so that's about 5 years now.

I think it's the dumb asses owning the laptops that are the reason you get them back. Statistically, Dell will be more known than evesham, so more stupid (as in pc ignorant) people buy them, therefore more returns from Dell laptops.
