problem with the w3 validator just 1 error

um not really sure on how to fix this problem because i have that same piece of code just 2 lines down with a different image but it doesnt say anything is wrong.. so umm yup thx in advance

think could be this? Error Line 14 column 38: there is no attribute "BACKGROUND".

??? no then there you need to fill it in


will i don't know that much but i think Admin Steve or Panther will have a better asker for you

It's saying that you are not allowed to use the background tag like you did. That site can be fusterating. instead use this:

<td rowspan="5" width="25" style="background-image:url('./images/blue_21.gif');"></td>

That is what FrontPage does. It always useful to use Front Page or dream weaver to make proper HTML. However you eventually become good enough to not even r3ally need that.

thx so much panther and steve and everyone else!! and -elite- i code all my stuff by hand so yup humans arent perfect we make mistakes
