Wonderful Program...

hey guys i just found a program called ccleaner its great it saved me 1GB of space by deleting temp files and log files that are never used... AND fixed 52 reg. entry problems... and best of all ITS FREE!

its small it does the job well and its free can you ask for more?

and i just ran it on another pc and it saved 142mb of disk space and fixed 86 reg. entries..

Yeah but is it Adware or Spyware free?

the thing with temp files to fix a program like MS Office it save info in them temp files to repair it self if you try to use that option it will not work and one has to reinstill it over again some programs save info in temp files. i know i did it and oops i had to reinstill my antivirus and office 2003 over again. could not repair temp files gone.

for backup and temp files one should see what they are for before removing them always look first

i clear dr watson file [text file] it save about 3gb of info in that text file its really like to eatup HHD space. if your system been doing really good pass 30days it be a good ID to open that text file or delet it all together then make a new file up using the same name so there no error it being gone.

only be located in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson

Yes, i found it on download.com and they have a no adware no anything ware policy and i scanned it myself..

you can select programs to leave alone there are allot of options.. like for me i hate logging in to the hq and other sites.. so i told it to keep the hq's cookies...

will i ran it save 250mb on HHD not bad.

i disable for cookies, .dat, .tmp file leave them be.

a lot of the files it remove was .log files there was a lot of them.

NOTE:

this pc had Norton 1 click fix thingy on it.. Norton missed allot huh?
