hi welcom to dfhq.net
This is for LW: Skinning anything but weapons is a no-no due to the fact that you could use them as cheats ie. It's alot easier to see a lime green character than a normal character. Skinning weapons is different all you are doing is making an image that you see in 1st person view, the 3rd person view and others is unchanged. A good tutorial for skinning by stevieB used to be at: http://stevieb.dfhq.net/dflw/tutoria...01/satch01.htm but the link is down If you can hang on a bit ill bug stevieB until he posts it |

This is a little sample of what I can do weapon skin wise, and I had to reduce the res and quallity greatly just to put it on here....It's the mp40 for MOHAA........It looks alot better ingame with the right res.I have alot of other things I've worked on that are unfinished...but i don't want to bore ya any further with them .............I need to get into the weapon skin files for DFBHD or it will drive me back to Drinkin!!

hiho
what u need is to look in the respources pff file then you will see a bunch of files with the extension of .dds to view 'em download THIS [Adobe PhotoShop DXT Compression Plugin - This is a DXTC texture compression plugin for PhotoShop or PaintShop Pro that allows you to open and save .dds textures from Delta Force] also THIS is useful [Allows you to view .dds files in Thumbnail view in Explorer. ] now make sure you show us what you make |
