AI Animations List
Hi, does anyone know how I can find the list of all animations that the AI can use in Joint Ops using the SSNAnim in .wac?
I’m working on a coop map and want to experiment with different animations for certain events. If anyone have a list with all of them and want to share it, I would really appreciate it! Last edited by Northstar78; 01-21-2025 at 07:29 AM. |

An .adm file is a directory of .bad files. A .bad file is an animation. Each AI has an .adm file associated with it. You can drag and drop an .adm into editor.exe and find an entire list of animations for the AI that uses the .adm you've opened.
There might be some annoyance with .pff editors and decrypting to do on the way, but the tools and advice on using them are available here at NovaHQ.

Thanks for the tip, I managed to find them all! From my testing, I noticed that each bot has a limited set of animations they can use, and unfortunately, some don’t even work properly in the main game. However, when I tested them in the International Conflict mod, not only did they work, but the bots also had more options like for example Joint Ops bots could throw grenades, do emotes, and even jump into the prone position.

At some point in my DFBHD(TS) mapping adventures, I noticed that the somali RPG guy glitched out when falling, and checked to find he was missing the jump loop in his .adm, or something, I just spent the last forty minutes trying to figure out how I fixed it in my mods, and can only confirm that I did.
In the process, I added grenade throws to a few AIs, and emplacement attachment animations to the civilians. Might've overdone it, 'cause crocodiles on .50 cals. are a cursed sight. But I'm glad I was helpful.
