Your settings for the pilot look correct and should not have caused the Helo to go berserk.
The only changes to your setting I would make is :
Max Attack Distance.......320
Max Engagement Distance...320
Min Engagement Distance...32
FYI: Weapon accuracy #1 controls the accuracy of the weapon the AI carries. Weapon accuracy #2 controls the accuracy of the weapon/vehicle the AI is attached to.
Also, if you are using the FLYABLE NPO with Rockets then the textfile (behavior) for that perticular NPO helo allows it to act iratic and deviate from waypoints. Basically, giving the helo a mind of it's own. And, when attacking ... will not respond to event commands ... no matter what you do.
