Interview: Killerbee

o WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Stephen Christiansen

o HOW OLD ARE YOU?
I am 23 years old

o WHAT COUNTRY DO YOU LIVE IN?
The USA

o IF THE USA WHAT STATE?
I’m from Memphis, Tennessee

o HOW DID YOU COME ABOUT THE NAME THAT YOU USE FOR ONLINE?
To be honest I don’t remember its wasn’t any big story.

o HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING GAMES?
Since I was about 5 or 6 years old. I was in preschool and someone brought the new NES to school with Super Mario Brothers I was hooked!

o WHAT WAS YOU FIRST GAME YOU THINK YOU HAVE PLAYED?
Super Mario Brothers

o HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AN ACTIVE MEMBER IN NOVAHQ?
Since December 27th 2002

o HOW DID YOU FIRST COME ACROSS NOVAHQ/DFHQ?
I was a Tourney Administrator for Super CQB a LW/TFD CQB tourney group and applied for the tourney position on Delta Force Headquarters and got it.

o WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST NOVALOGIC GAME?
Delta Force 1

o WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST DELTA FORCE GAME AND WHAT YEAR DID YOU START PLAYING?
Delta Force 1 and I started playing around 1998

o DID YOU HAVE ANY SQUADS ALONG THE WAY IN YOUR DELTA FORCE CAREER?
Tons lol gonna be a long list so here it goes
DF1= none
DF2= ^B^, ~ZW~, Fi, BA, SH, EU, TC, DEA, /AK\
LW= KillerSquad and RS3
TFD= BMF, RS3
BHD= RS3

o DO YOU CURRENTLY PLAY ANY GAMES ONLINE OR OFF?
Guild Wars and DF2 when I’m not in Iraq

o WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FOR THE FUTURE OF NOVAHQ?

o WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE FOR THE FUTURE OF NOVALOGIC?
A new game would be nice and not something that sucks ether.

o FOR STEVE BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW HE WANTS TO KNOW WHO YOUR FAVORITE ADMIN IS.
Hard to say really don’t have a Favorite tbh.

o NL HAS BEEN TIGHT LIPPED ABOUT THEIR NEW GAMES. WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THIS? IS THIS GOOD OR BAD?
Hopefully it means that Novalogic is taking there time and making a good game again. They really have to take a lot of time on this one to make it better than some of EA’s games.

o DOES NL STILL HAVE YOUR SUPPORT? ALL OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL WILL YOU BUY THE NEXT NL GAME?
Depends on how the game turns out I usually don’t buy a game unless it gets good reviews.

o WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU REMEMBER ABOUT NOVAHQ THAT THE NEW MEMBERS WOULDN’T KNOW?
Well Back when NovaHQ was called DFHQ and there where quarterly tournaments was great times so much to do. With me and trilogy running around with our heads cut off trying to get stuff done in time.

o WHAT WAS THE BEST NOVALOGIC GAME IN YOUR OPINION?
By far I would say DF2.

o WHERE COULD NOVAHQ IMPROVE?
We are making great strides at some changes now that will make novahq more diverse.

o HAS THE LIKES OF EA AND THE OTHER BIG COMPANIES MADE IT HARDER ON NOVALOGIC?
Im sure it has might be a reason that nova stopped releasing so many games so fast. Maybe they learned there lesson and will take there time this time around.

Thanks for taking the time KB.

And for those interested, heres a shot of the man himself. For those that dont know KB is currently serving with the US Armed Forces in Iraq.
