How to tell if you have real ACUs

okay this is a way to determine if you have Government Issued Authentic ACUs im doing this because this might be informative to you and i got nothing better to do, i got too much time on my hands


The M65 field Jacket:
made of 50% Nylon 50% Cotton
has 2 In Fared tabs (the little black squares!) along with 2 hook and fasteners over the tabs
2 blank tabs for name and branch
2 and only 2 breast pockets that are slanted at about a 45 degrees
2 "pen" pockets for the nerds! lol jk

2 sholder pockets
flip up collar
the jacket is zip up! if it is button up it is not authentic, if the it is ziped up you should have 3 spots of Velcro to cover the zippers
1 spot in the chest for the rank

The Trousers
again made 50% Nylon 50% cotton
2 main pockets on the thighs that are slightly slanted with that are Velcro connected
the "Fly" i geuss if you want to call it that, is button up
2 smaller pockets near the bottom
fasteners at the top of the pants and the bottom,

obviously they must be in the colors of... Gray,sand tan, green

so now you know, im not too sure about the MMCUs and the other Us that are out there so i hope this is helpful
