well this is just pissing me off, i got a game called Red Orchestra the other day and it is suposed to take place in 41-45 on the Ostfront, it is put out by Tripwire iinteractive and bold games, and is a steam game.
i read the box and the idiot sheet in the box and it did not warn me about the folowing BS.
i installed it all went well, it installed steam and all the stuff on the disk, it automaticly updated the steam and i thought i could play it after that.
well **** and fire i was wrong, it wanted me to verify my copy, well i did, and now it want me to activate, in order to activate the dam thing it has to download the required game files from steam, that is over 2GB of data thru a damn dialup connection, 5 bleeping days nonstop is what it will take me acording to the site.
why the hell didnt they warn me on the dam box about this, i spent 30 damn$US on the pile of crap and i cant play it and the store has a no return polocy on software, i done tried to return it and they wont take it, as far as im concerned the company that made this game owes me 30$.
