Advice please.

I'm getting ready to go buy some RAM for my computer.

It's a P4, 1.3 ghz, 60 gig, tnt nvidia 2, 128 mb RAM, I was thinking about upgrading to 512, can I go buy 384 mb RAM, and add it to my 128, or do i have to just go buy a whole 512. Also... How do I install it. Should i have someone do it for me. Or is it very simple and i can just plug it in my self.

I didnt know where to put this thread, so i put it in general to get alot of attention.
