[adult] thinking of having my back spine fuse together

thinking of having my lower back spine fuse two bones together. i have a back trouble slip disk trouble two bone like to slip back and forth, thinking asking the doctor to fuse two bones together. at a VA hospital

have any one have this done to them and have it done any good?

i am a bit scare to have this done to me, but the trouble i am having is really hurts a lot pain level can get really super bad were i in bed for 3 days till they slip back in place, when they go out can't walk, lucky if i can run way it is now. i am limit to what i can do. hell they gone out of place even pick up 10-20bls some times
