newclear, see where it says ip 192.168.2. [box] get ur ip addy (192.168.2.xx) and place it in there, then hit ok or w/e and you should be able to host

TO GET YOUR NETWORK IP (192.168.2.xxx) if your on windows 9x hit start > run > winipcfg and it will show yout eh ip number, then place the last 1-3 digits in that box.

bud you shoud go to start then to Programes then to MS DOS Promt and then type in ipconfig and the press enter and under the 1 either in IP it will be **.***.***.100 and the last 3 #'s you type in the DMZ host box and it should work

if u have a router you must set up a virtual server on the ip adres of your server this is NAT problem if your router gives you ip adress i.e.192.1.1.3 then set up virtual server on this ip.if u dont your pc is invisible though your game name is not .. it works i had the same problem.

by the way you must go to router config NAT menu to do so .
you surf with your bnrowser to default gateway you can find it with winipcfg in win 98 otherwise xp win 2000 etc
goto run> command type:ipconfig/all

well actualy, im still having aproblem, nova said port 17479 and foward all traffic to the local ip. like it said, but i still cant connect, disabled firewall, enabled trigger port, 4447/17479, enabled DMZ and fixed the IP, and still dont work. the router maker dont know **** about it 'quote' "We are unable to help you solve your problem, please see the game manufacturer for further assistance"'. this is all f'ed up

Well I didnt read everything. But all I have to say is I hate Dlink I got dlink too. But I have no problem hosting just have a problem getting a decent connection.
